Our Story
Shirley was a teacher for Headstart and taught her students to recycle. They made garden art for the school garden from recycled materials their parents were going to give or throw away.

It was such a big hit that Shirley suggested making recycled art to boost our team donations for the Relay for Life, American Cancer Society walk. Everything we made sold and many people told us we should pursue it as a business.

Shirley retired from teaching and did just that. Upcycled Treasures was born. Now Shirley, Cathy, Elaine, and Kristie craft all of our creations and Linda manages the business.
